BEWARE
Well you have finally decided you want a pedigree dog, your bursting to get him/her ASAP.
You've rang a few breeders and they either have no puppies or they are out of your price range, what do you do?
Most people start to look via the internet and see litters and litters of puppies advertised,SUDDENLY you spot the dog you want and the price is so cheap, can it be true. NO IT ISNT.
Every week I get calls from people looking for bulldog pups and they have seen pups advertised for as little as £300 up to £1000.
This is where your scammer comes in and he doesnt give a damn about your feelings or how long you have worked to earn the money or even if it will break your childs heart, they want your MONEY and will offer you the world.
TO BRING any pup or dog into this country they need a pet passport, this takes no LESS than 6 months to arrange as the dog needs rabies vacine, health checks injections microchipping etc more details can be read at the DEFRA site for bring dogs into this country. There are no short cuts and EVERY country needs to do these rules even if the dog is staying in the UK.

Some examples of scams being sent via emails and ads on internet sites.
EXAMPLES OF SOME SCAMS ARE..................................
My parents have mated their bulldog and she is having pups but my parents (or parent) was killed and I cant raise the pups,Im asking for help if you can look after the pups you can have them.
Another one is,............Bulldog pup free to good home or a small donation required.
Im a nun (or monk) and we raise these pups so you can enjoy them please contact us and we just ask for a donation to help the church or childs home.
The best I have had so far is the pups are up North (or South) and they have arranged a couier to deliver your pup direct to you but first you need to wire the money (or deposit) via moneygram.
You can ask to collect the pup and they will allow you too BUT on more than one occasion people have been send to a non existent address
I even had someone ring me and the scammers had even set up a webcam so he could see "his" pup, they just dont care for you or the dogs.
What do you do.............RUN AWAY and DO NOT send money to anyone.
A caring breeder will ask you questions about yourself, your home your children your work life and why you want a pup,its not that they are being nosey or nasty they are caring breeders who want to be sure that the pup is going to someone who has taken the time to find out about the breed, that you know what your taking on,as a pup isnt for everyone and in turn by guiding you it ensures the pup has a lifetime home and that you as a new owner know what to expect and can make an informed decision as to if that breed is the breed for you and if the time is right to add a dog to your life.
Do not expect a caring breeder to post your pup to you,its a live animal your buying.Take time to go meet the breeder and meet the other dogs the breeder owns, your going to buy one of her fur babies and we want the best for them (and you).
If all is well your going to be making a wonderful friend with your breeder who will be with you through the ups and down of owning a pup/dog,they will share the laughs, the worries and the lifetime of memories your going to get, take time to get the right dog and breeder and it is the best thing you will ever do.
RUSH into a bad breeder and you will be buying trouble,a sick pup and breeder who dont give a damn about you or the pup.
